Carrboro ArtsCenter Benefit with 12 Grain Studio & Aberdium
On Monday Novermber 10 at 6:30pm CCC is hosting a benefit that will support The ArtsCenter. Its organized by two wonderful organizations 12 Grain Studio and Aberdium. Here's the info:
The New Settlers
Get together on a brisk Fall evening with friends and neighbors as they help to raise money for the Carrboro ArtsCenter. The ArtsCenter began more than 25 years ago, and was known as "The ArtSchool," a single painting class. Today, The ArtsCenter serves more than 50,000 people each year. It is unique in that it serves both professionals and amateurs through its wide variety of programs, events and classes, but it has also extended its arm to other members of the community by developing outreach programs such as the Latino, African American and People with Disabilities Initiatives. Generous funding from the Orange County Arts Commission and the Human Services Agency of Orange County, has allowed The ArtsCenter to sponsor pro-bono or reduced-rate arts programs for underserved populations that are vital to our community.
However, this community centric not-for-profit has outgrown their capacity and we want to make their vision for a new ArtsCenter a reality by hosting this Autumn themed evening filled with socializing, presentations and Q&A. We hope that small business owners, investors and entrepreneurs will band together for this special cause.
We ask that you bring your checkbooks, or cash for the festive fundraiser activity. Special thanks to Brian Russell who offered up his great co-working space for this event.
You can RSVP on the Facebook event page called Carrboro ArtsCenter Benefit with 12 Grain Studio & Aberdium. Become a fan of CCC on Facebook to learn more about events like this. Our calendar will have event info too.
