Carrboro Creative Coworking

I slept really well last night. That tells me that I’m on top of things. If I’d left anything serious undone I’d be much more anxious. People kept on asking me this morning if I’m excited and how I feel. I had to respond that I feel very good but relaxed. I do have a ton of energy today but it’s being put to work.

The big news is all Offices and desks are sold. We now have waiting lists. Every Full Time Coworker and Office Coworker space is full! An amazing thing considering we’ve only been open one day.

We have plenty of seats for Part Time Coworker and Coworkers. (Five Part Time Coworkers now.) Plus conference room time available. It’s first come first serve so get these while you can. I’m very excited about the people who will be dropping in once in a while as Part Time Coworkers. They will add serious spice and variety to the community.

Today I received several nice gifts. One coworker brought delicious pound cake with almonds on it. Another went out and bought some soy milk and half and half for the coffee. A few people showed up around lunch time to chat and see what’s going on. A bit after 4pm we ran out of brewed coffee. A second batch was made.

Lots of people came in this morning to check out the space. Right now there are four other people working with me. All in all a very good first day.
